Privacy & Policies
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This page explains how Max Margins ("we," "us") handles your information, and the terms you agree to when you apply to or enroll in the 1-on-1 branded ecommerce mentorship. If you have a question that isn't answered here, email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
Part 1 — Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you fill out the application (or any form on this site), we collect what you type in: your name, email, phone number, age, where you found us, how many hours a week you can commit, when you want to start, your investment range, and your answers about your current business and goals.
When you enroll, we also collect payment confirmation details (not your full bank or card numbers — those stay with your bank or payment provider), your store and social media links, and the work you submit for coaching (assignments, screenshots, analytics, product and supplier research).
If you join the free Discord, Discord collects your account information under its own privacy policy. We only see what you post and the answers you give in the server's onboarding questions.
Automatically, like most websites, we may collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. We may use cookies or similar tools for basic site analytics.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Review your application and decide whether the mentorship is a fit
- Contact you about your application, scheduling, and enrollment
- Run your coaching — reviewing your work, preparing for your calls, and tracking your progress
- Send you updates, resources, and occasional offers (you can opt out anytime)
- Improve the site, the Discord, and the mentorship
- Keep records for accounting and legal purposes
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with:
- People on the team who help run the mentorship (appointment setters, closers, admin support). They only see what they need to do their job.
- Service providers we use to operate — for example form tools, email, scheduling, video calls, Discord, and analytics. They process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
- Legal requirements, if we're required by law, a court, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Your work and your results
Anything you submit for coaching stays yours. We will not publish your brand, store, content, numbers, or results in our marketing without asking you first and getting your clear yes.
How long we keep it
We keep application data for up to 12 months after you apply if you don't enroll. We keep enrolled student records for as long as you're in the mentorship and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).
Your choices
- Marketing emails and texts: reply "STOP" or use the unsubscribe link, or email us.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in a region with specific privacy rights (for example California, the EU, or the UK), you can exercise those rights the same way.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us anything you wouldn't want stored — and never send full bank or card details over DM or email.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 to apply or enroll in the mentorship. If you're under 18, don't submit the application. If we learn we've collected application or enrollment information from someone under 18, we'll delete it. The free Discord is subject to Discord's own age requirements.
Changes
If we update this policy we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site, the Discord, or the mentorship after a change means you accept the updated version.
Part 2 — Mentorship Terms
These terms apply when you enroll in the Max Margins 1-on-1 branded ecommerce mentorship.
What you're paying for
You are paying for Max's time, skills, and personal coaching — direct 1-on-1 calls, review of your work, feedback, and help taking action on your product, content, and store. You are not paying for a guaranteed outcome.
No income or results guarantees
We teach branded ecommerce and coach you through building it. We do not guarantee sales, revenue, profit, followers, views, or any specific result. Anything shared about what Max or other students have done is for illustration only and is not a promise of what you'll achieve. Your results depend on your effort, your decisions, your product, your market, and factors outside anyone's control. This is not a get-rich-quick program.
Payment
- The mentorship fee is a one-time payment, paid in full before coaching begins.
- We do not offer payment plans or split payments.
- We do not offer "pay after results" arrangements.
- Payment is made directly (for example Zelle or bank transfer). We'll confirm the exact method with you at enrollment. Never send payment to any account we haven't confirmed with you directly in writing.
- Pricing is quoted per person. If two people from the same business want to be coached, each seat is quoted separately unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Refunds
Because coaching time is reserved for you the moment you enroll, refunds are limited. You may request a refund only if all of the following are true:
- You request it in writing (email to [SUPPORT EMAIL]) within 30 days of your enrollment date;
- You attended every scheduled 1-on-1 call during that period (or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice); and
- You completed and submitted every assignment given to you during that period, on time and in full.
If you meet all three conditions and still feel the mentorship isn't for you, we'll refund your fee. If any condition isn't met, the fee is non-refundable. This exists to protect students who actually do the work, not people who enroll and disappear.
Your responsibilities
- Show up to your scheduled calls on time and prepared.
- Submit your assignments by the deadlines Max sets.
- Reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. Missed calls without notice may not be made up.
- Be honest about your situation, numbers, and progress — Max can't coach what he can't see.
- Run your business legally. You're responsible for your own products, suppliers, manufacturing, trademarks, taxes, platform policies, and customers.
What we provide
- Regular 1-on-1 coaching calls with Max
- Review of and feedback on the work you submit
- Support through building your product, content, and store, and then into scaling, for as long as you're actively enrolled and participating
- Access to any private student space, resources, or materials we make available to students
The mentorship has no fixed end date, but active participation is expected. If you stop showing up or submitting work for an extended period, we may consider your enrollment inactive.
Our content
Slides, templates, recordings, lessons, and any other materials we give you — including anything posted in the Discord — are for your personal use in your own business. Don't resell, share, or repost them, and don't record calls without asking.
Conduct
We reserve the right to end coaching, without refund, or remove you from the Discord, if you are abusive to any team member or member, share program materials, or use the mentorship or the server for anything illegal or dishonest.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Max Margins is not liable for any lost profits, lost revenue, or indirect damages connected to the mentorship or your business. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the mentorship.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email us first — most issues get solved with a conversation. Any dispute that can't be resolved will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
